Poster design presenting the 2018–2019 season series for the Lyric Opera of Chicago. As the saying goes,” it is a thin line between love and hate”, love and hatred are the themes I chose for the poster. The giant letterforms focus on the drama of the opera to create the feeling of attending the show even for people who don’t know much about opera. When passersby see the poster from afar, they will want to walk closer and have a look at the opera schedule.
